Birthday, Blessing, A Few Owies, Etc....

Not having the internet has really altered my ability to be able to keep this up to date. I'm going to try to sum everything up as simply and quickly as possible. We will see how it goes.

May 1 was my birthday (woot woot) so Kyle and I were able to go on a date while his parents watched Isabella. It was nice to get out and be just us for a little while, although I was starting to miss her by the end of the trip. We went to Logan and ate at a sushi place, and then went to Alice in Wonderland. It was a really good show (even with the creepiness of Tim Burton). Of course it can't hurt to have Johnny Depp in it.

May 2 we had Isabella blessed. It was so nice for so many people to be able to be there with us. After the blessing we had lunch at Mom's.

Three cute cousins

May 3 Kyle decided to have an accident. While at work, he "some how" managed to drive a Gator (John Deere golf cart thing) in to a ditch and broke two fingers. He broke his pinky in two spots and his ring finger in one spot on his right hand (not so convenient for the week of finals, but he managed). We took a trip to Logan and had x-rays done and then a cast molded for his hand.

May 4 Isabella had her two month appointment. She weighed 9 lbs 8 oz and was 22 inches long. She did so good and was smiling at the nurse until they stuck the needles in her leg. After we got her pants on her and I cuddled her for a little while she was able to fall asleep.
As soon as we got home from Logan we changed clothes and went to the church. The bishop wanted to meet with us. We are now den leaders in the cub scouts for the bears and the wolves. Also I am one of the camp directors for the Young Women. I am excited for that one, but kindof scared of the scouts.

So I hope that sums everything up that has really happened, and wish us luck tomorrow as we go back to the doctor for Kyle. If his pinky is healing the right way he won't need surgery to fix it.
