It's Rain, It's Snow, It's Rain....

So it was raining...then it was snowing...then it started raining again. Anyway, I left my room this morning only to find that my coat doesn't have a hood. As I turned around to go back inside I realized that I had forgotten my key on my desk. So I trudged to class (about a three or four block walk).

In class all we talked on was basically service. So I've been thinking about different service things I can do. I'm not really a service type person (not that I'm mean but because I'm not an outspoken or an open person very often), but I've decided to give it a try.

Anyway I was going to volunteer at the hospital but they didn't have many opportunities. So now I'm attempting to become a mentor. There is a on campus mentoring program where "a menitor" is paired with a youth (ranging between the ages of 10 and 14). If I'm accepted, I think it will be fun. I only have to spend at least 1-2 hours a week.
