Well, I know that I am a couple months late but here are pictures from my Senior Trip! The cruise was totally awesome! There are more pictures I wanted to post but I was unable to load them on to my computer yet!
Merinda and I were involved in the Battle of the Sexes competition, and ya the girls won. Go Figure!
So I guess I should probably have posted this blog before my bleach one but oh well. Anyway, the day of graduation was really exciting!
I received a full tuition scholarship to USU! Woot woot!
And a $300 scholarship for participating in the sterling scholar competition.
And then there was graduation! That is my class which is surprisingly a big class for my tiny school. There were 42 in my class!
But the best part of that day was that I was able to see Braxton and spend time with him as well as Holly and Zach. This was the first time I have seen Braxton since we did the placement, and all I can say is wow this little boy has gotten big.
The day after graduation my mom, AnDe, and I went to lunch with Holly and Zach and brought them to our favorite place to eat...Bodean's! AnDe caught Cindy (our boss and really good friend) before she went to show some property so that she would be able to meet Braxton and his family! I suspected she would cry a little bit, but her husband is the one I like to make emotional. When I brought Braxton back to the kitchen, he looked shocked. First, he didn't know who's baby I had stolen because Braxton's hair has become so blonde since he was born, but after Jim knew who he was, he could not stop smiling or talking to this little guy.
Today was officially my last day of high school. It's crazy to believe. A few of the other seniors and I sat in the commons area during the last part of the day and just talked about how weird it was and where we are all planning on going. I can't wait to get out of here, but I really don't know if I'm ready for more big changes in my life.
Wow! It's been a while since I last posted a blog. Well let's see. Things have been pretty crazy lately, especially with the coming of the end of the school year. Woohoo! I was able to get my senior pictures done today so soon I will be able to post copies of a few of those.
I got to play "meet the parents" of one of my friends this week. It was some what nerve racking because I believe this is the first time that parents have sat me down and actually asked me question and expected me to have a conversation with them. After a while though (well after about an hour and a half of questions) I finally started to feel comfortable.
I have the Sterling Scholar competition (I guess it's a competition) on Tuesday. I'm slightly nervous.
Last night was the senior/junior prom. I had a great time. First of all because I went with someone (as I have mentioned before) that I have had a crush on since kindergarten. It was a very fun night.
Even though he was running a little late, Casey and I were able to get a few pictures in before we left.
After the introduction of the seniors was the dance with the parents. Irronically the song "You're Gonna Miss This" was the one played.
Over all, I can honestly say that absolutely loved this night.
On Friday I went on my first official date. At about one Casey showed up and we went to the fun dome. We went bowling (yeah Casey and I lost) and we played laser tag (once again we lost). Then we went back to Casey's house where he and John fixed Kayla and me dinner. They made chicken enchaldas which were really good. While the guys were fixing dinner, Kayla and I played Guitar Hero and I wooped her! Woot woot! Haha, we really had fun because neither of us had played it before and we both did quite good for beginners. After that we played Disney scene it which Kayla and I should have won but the guys cheated. Then we played Harry Potter scene it which presented a problem because Kayla and I have never seen Harry Potter. Once again Casey and I lost. After that we went to John's house and watched What Lies Beneath! I have seen that movie a lot and it still scares me every time.

Well as boring as my life may appear to others, I feel that things lately have been very entertaining. First of all I accomplished one of my goals for 2008. It was to try something new so I did something that no one I believe would've ever expected me to do. I joined the golf team! As boring as I used to think golf was to watch, it's really fun to play. We went to our first tournament yesterday and although I didn't play in the actual tournament, a group of us did get a chance to go to a driving range and then practice putting and chipping. We even had a competition (each of us put a quarter in, so 1.75 was on the line) and after three four way ties a freshman beat us all. The tie was between Casey, Chris, Braxton, and yours truely ME! Haha, I almost beat Braxton but I hit the ball a little too hard.
Prom is in a week and I am so excited! First of all I'm just excited that I got asked and that I'm going, secondly I am SO EXCITED because the guy I've been in love with since kindergarten is the one that asked me!
I used to feel so alone and that I didn't have very many friends, but wow this year has sure changed that. I have so many and it's awesome!
My Casey! All I can say is it's about time. To think I almost gave up after waiting almost 13 years for him to finally take me on a date, haha. I honestly think I would've waited another 13 for this chance. Well, just kidding, maybe just another 5 or so. Tee hee!
As much as we don't get along sometimes, these two could easily be considered two of my very closest friends. Kelcie and I since our freshman year, and Mikayla and I since we were too little to remember.
Kindra is awesome! Even with what she's gone through, she's still willing to give anything to someone else.
Jennifer is just such a sweet and caring girl. She gets made fun of all the time, but I would trust her over almost anyone in my school.
Oh and Adam! Probably my best guy friend! If you are wondering about this picture, we sat like that the entire lunch period because we both got out of class early and finished eating before anyone else.
Well it was another long night and an amazing performance. Even though it is so late right now, I am hardly tired. I know that as soon as I go to bed I will crash but at the moment I am still sitting up right. I was unable to take pictures of the actual performace but tonight before the show we did cast pictures. Here are just a few of the ones I took.

Well it's been a long week and it isn't near over. I am helping with the musical at the high school and that has been quite an interesting experience. Not only have I been assigned to run one of the spot lights, I am also helping with the makeup....the guys makeup, and I really can't complain. Tonight is the third night of the musical, and tomorrow will be the final.
I finally got asked to prom! Woohoo! My locker was covered with balloons and inside was full of balloons and toilet paper. On the door there were a bunch of packs of gum and note that said "Prom would be Extra fun if you would Gum with me". I found the balloon with his name written on it. Casey Millard! Woohoo, I've had a crush on him since kindergarten so I'm super excited!
AnDe, Mom, and I went shopping for AnDe's wedding dress last weekend and it was so fun. It is the craziest thing to think that soon she will be married. All of the dresses looked great on her, but the one she picked was by far the best! I love it! I was also able to get my new prom dress (considering there is no way that the one from last year will fit). It is sage green and black. I think it is very cute. I am going to have Ashley (Tyson's Ashley, haha) do my hair and nails for me so I'm really looking forward to that.
After prom or after my senior pictures I've decided that I am going to cut my hair. Not too short but I don't know if I want to leave it as long as it is, so if any of you have a suggestion on a cute style let me know.
Well, I finally decided to go back to school. Being the third and final trimester of my senior year there really isn't a whole lot for us to do. But that doesn't mean we don't know how to keep ourselves entertained.
