One Day More

Well, today was just another day, but for me another day means another reason why I'm not sitting at home. My schedule has been pretty busy lately, which really for me is a good thing. I don't like just sitting around doing nothing.

Today I had another doctor's appointment to see how baby is growing. So far she says things are looking good. His heartbeat was good and he's positioned just the way he should be. It's pretty scary for to think that he'll be here in a month give or take a bit. My next appointment will be on the 25 of this month and she said "if things are looking good, we might just have you stay here." Woah! is all I really can think about that. My due date isn't until February 18, but she said 97% of women have their babies early. I didn't realize that the percent was so high.

After my appointment, my mom, sister and I took a tour of the new part women's part of the hospital. They showed me the birthing rooms and the rooms that I will be staying in after the baby is born. It was really nice actually. On the labor and delivery floor, they even have a jacuzzi to help with the delivery process. NICE! Every room has a tv with a dvd player and a pull out bed for the father or whoever will be staying with the mother. In my case it will be my mom most likely. It's a pretty secured area too. There is no way for anyone to sneak in or out of the facility and they monitor everything, which will be nice. I'm scared about delivery but hey, I think I could get used to the rooms.

It snowed most of our way over to Logan and the whole way home. We traveled just fine, but hopefully I don't go into labor on a stormy night. That won't be so much fun.

Well we have started to quilt some new blankets for the baby. I already have a ton of clothes and stuff for him, but a baby can never have too much. Yes, I'll admit it, he'll be just a little spoiled. ;)
