Happy New Year!

Well, it is now a new year. Last night we spent New Year's Eve at one of my sister's house with family and friends. The kids were running around like crazy as we older folk were playing cards. There was one table playing poker and the other table was playing Phase 10. The poker table was all the men and two women, where the Phase 10 table was the rest of the women. Had someone not asked about the time, we probably would've missed the beginning of the new year completely.

Every new year I make a list of my goals that plan on accomplishing within the year. Sometimes I list things that are a little more complicated just to see if I am able to get them done, and I also like to list a bunch of goals just so that I will know that I will get them done and feel better about the number of things I have checked off, instead of the number of things that I wasn't able to get done.
